This LV inspired cake was the perfect creation for our Birthday Fashionista who also has a not so secret love for pianos!

Faux Snowy Xmas and New Years

Hello,

Happy belated Xmas and New Years, and may 2010 be as splendid to you as it has been for us so far.

Since winter seems to have forsaken us this year we decided to create our own winter wonderland for Xmas and New Years.

The white christmass tree eccentuated with the blue ornaments and lights definitly served that purpose, and what winter wonderland is complete without a jolly snow man!

Halloween Party

We showed you some sneak peaks of the party of when we were rehearsing for the decor, and these are the final glimpses. Let us start by saying that the halloween party was a success, we were able to mesh the birthday boys wishes with the halloween theme. Let us know what you think...

We first started off with an elegant alter at the entrance with the eerie mona lisa staring down whoever came in...

What follows was a table ladden with all the creepy crawlies, insane cat and skeleton figurines bearing scrumptious candies ,party favors (made by Googi Designs) and the birthday cake itself (made by Crumbs but designed by Googi Designs)...

And off course , it goes without saying that no grave yard is complete without a beautiful bouqet of roses

Khan Al Khalili Birthday Bash

Good Morning ,

What we have noticed with our Googi Designs work is that event planning is just full of suprises, so when we were asked for a Khan Al Khalili theme we were first baffled then excited, then panicked! How were we going to bring the essence of Khan Al Khalili to Kuwait and mold it into a funky version that would suit the birthday girl! But with a bit of blood and sweat and tears (an obvious exageration) we were able to accomplish it! This party had the right mood, music, food and even costumes!
